"Technical water"
A system for recovery of oils and fats present in organic effluent liquids (waste waters) based on REOP technology. This technology allows valorising small fractions of oils and fats present in liquids, obtaining liquid fuel with high heat of combustion. These oils and fats are normally lost and are intended for bacterial treatment prior to the mechanical separation process (for ex. fats condensers).

Currently, the biological technology is used for this type of effluents treatment (for ex. biodigestors) and the oils and fats presence in the primary effluent can heavily condition the system’s efficiency, thus requiring its continuous tuning. With the proposed technology, however, the effluent prepared for treatment will have the characteristics of enhanced uniformity, thus simplifying purification. The process will also produce a product of a fair added value and allow full recovery of the reagents used during the treatment, resulting in the low operational costs.
